This animatic sketch shows the rock falling hazard to be created at a later date, as well as the speed boost buff on the floor

This is the final concept piece for the level layout, the rest of the weekend will be spent on adding colour using some of taz's colourings when he hasd drawn various sections of the map

Cloth Car - Modelling


The cloth cars current stage, the final detailing is being added to around the front and side of the car, to try and get it in line with the concept art by Joe. The wave like fabric around the front of the car that sprawls out and around is more difficult to achieve then i first thought, however, is slowly coming along, the skirt like area where the exhausts are works well i think, with a few slight tweeks to make it look more like it is resting on the pipes with slack inbetween the seems than just lying there. The outliner is also shown in the bottom picture to show that the model is still correctly working, because of a problem with the outliner with the glass vehicle. The vehicle is being built from the blocked out car from Neil that is the correct size and has a correct outliner ready for Unreal once it is finished.

New Uv - Environment Designs - Animatics - Scott

Below is the updated UV unwrap of the glass vehicle for Neil to use inside Unreal.


These are a few of the environment concepts that i drew up, getting the perspective right at some of the track points was difficult, i'm now going to take these on and finalise them with colour.






I also looked into animatics for our group to use during our Viva, looking into using them for the combat in the game, as we wont have it finished in time to show for the 1st deadline and potentially also the minecart section of the level and the hazards of the level that haven't been completed yet.
