Asset List & Track Theme Ideas

The theme for the race track needs to be decided on, as well as the asset for that theme. Here a rough idea of both.

  1. Joe: I propose we go for the 'Mountains' track. The reason is that it is closest to the theme of 'materials'. We do get some of our materials from the mountains, don't we? Like from mining and stuff? Plus it would seem kinda old hat to pick the 'Street / Road'.

    Of the assets, I'd say we go for the 'Pit Stop Building', a 'Crowd', 'Mountains' (obviously), 'Mini Tunnels', 'Rocks', and maybe a 'Waterfall' as well.

    Also, since the 'Mountains' is an option, perhaps we should consider having this track take place in great heights, where the possibility of the player falling off the course and into an abyss can happen. In that sense, maybe a 'Rickety Bridge' could make a good asset as well?

    Just my thoughts. :)

  2. Im fine with the mountains idea, i like the idea of the rickety bridge and the height playing a part in it adding to the difficulty of the track.

    The waterfall we'd have to check with Neil to make sure he can do it in Unreal and isn't overly difficult to add in, but other than that sounds good.
