Some more concept sketches. This time, I've been thinking about what John said, and focused a bit more on the process of the character. Furthermore, I've decided that maybe it would be best if each character was made out of their respective material, instead of making each one a puppet. This way, they would suit more into the cars they will drive in.
I totally like the Moai guy for the rock character. And Quetzelcoatl's statues make a great shape for a racing car. Regardless, they would still need further conceptualising.
I've sent an e-mail to the Programme Director of Automotive Design for some hints on designing vehicles. Once that happens, I can hopefully get some reference sheets for the vehicles.
